Come As You Are
Nirvana’s Come As You Are was once in the repertoire of my coverband and got reminded today there is actually also a recording of it!
| Although I hardly ever do any coversongs anymore (spent half a life in bands playing covers) there is still a cover recording now and then coming out of the homestudio. Could be because someone asked me to record it or just because I simply felt like doing a cover because I like the song. Anyway, it might be nice to put one up now and then for use on Facebook, whatever. I’ve called these recordings the Cheers Recordings.
Here’s Nirvana’s Come As You Are – recording as I seem to remember was done in a small studio, it is not a live recording. I never liked the somewhat slower tempo that much of Nirvana’s own version (seem to remember it was an issue rehearsing it back then, for whatever reason, “grunge” probably wasn’t the style band was familiar with) so my band speeded it up somewhat.
