EXT. INDUSTRIAL TERRACE, AFTERNOON
The 3 carts turn of the Spanish Town Road down the Industrial
Terrace. It is a common road for them as well as their donkeys,
doing this route daily. This part of town gives even more huts
and poverty. There’s a kid lounging on the sidewalk glaring up
as the garbage men pass.
GARBAGE MAN IN CART UP FRONT
Hi kid, you seen Rachel?
KID
At home me think, waiting for the night to fall
Brother Solomon, a tall rastafarian man, now steps out of his
little shop on the side of the road, sees the carts and walks up
to the garbage man on the 2nd cart.
Garbage man on second cart stops his cart and greets Brother
Solomon. He gives him a small bag of flour who hands him some
money, then he hurries on lashing his donkey while Brother
Solomon walks back to his shop.
EXT. THE GARBAGE BELT, LATE AFTERNOON
They finally reach the garbage belt. There are already a few
people waiting and they welcome the carts searching the
garbage on the carts even before they stop to unload.
Sceneries garbage belt near the sea and the evening falling.
